Sounds like another round of layoffs. Couple hundred from engineering side. Feel for those affected. I guess the strategy remains you can fix leadership problems by laying off experienced engineers.

lead engineer laid off. just when I am close to wrapping up a major project. I feel used...now they're probably going to say "see, the layoff has no impact on the project(s)".

All they care about are quarter margins.. by the time these serious issues begin to impact them, they’ll have jumped ship to sc--w over the next company

From previous rounds, it's 30 days in lieu of notice + some comp for length of service (i.e. 3 weeks for every year or something similar). Equity will forfeit - you should ask about vesting of retirement plan if not fully vested.
