Getting a lot of support from supervisor during PIP

Most of these threads are negative so I thought I’d share a positive story. I was NSI’d this year. Long story, ugly conflict with my previous organization. I’ve since transferred, and my new supervisor is proactively working with me to get through the PIP. Defending me from employee services, providing positive advice, and providing me opportunities to be stronger this year. It’s a nice change of pace from a previously toxic assignment. And no, I’m not a management plant.

@nv agreed. They believe they have a career in EM. Losers! Hanging around hoping someone will save them… LMAO!

They are too lazy to take action. So they deserved every bit of the shame and embarrassment they get!

NSI tagged lol.

@nv yes this is true. You have ZERO increment and in addition you will be seen as the employee that needs significant improvement.

Why want to make yourself so pathetic? Are you that desperate? To join EM you were once ahead of your mates. What happened? You will never have better opportunity unless you have a senior executive that help you? In my function in SG we had a guy that managed to come back decades ago.. but how many are there? He still leeches and bring his own friends in, but we know the game now..

Have some dignity. You deserves more and plan your exit if you are in NI or NSI category. Above average, I won’t bet too much on this, unless I have a pretty face, and you know, make Daddy happy.

We all know some stories of how some get their managerial promotion.

If you've been PIPED you'll always be fair game for the lower echelon. Maybe next year you get NI, woohoo, atta boy. You got nothing here. Move on

You career has ended once you are thrown to the dumpster. Have some dignity and plan your exit. You do not have a career anymore in EM.

Don’t believe the BS your executive give you during 1:1 that they climbed out form the gutter. They had support to begin with to go there. You are merely a non performing worker.

Do it for yourself and your family. Milk whatever you can from EM, quiet quit and do up your resume… there are many corporations that are better than EM, you will be good there…

take action on your career and life.

Awww… frankly. They DO NOT CARE… with or without you. They will get the salary. Increment. And pretend to feel sorry for you.

If you don’t have money to feed your kids, do you think they will help? They only do so to look good and feel superior.

Own your career. Save some pride for yourself. Else you will always be label as the person that NEEDS SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT. Lol now that shame is nasty…

Typically a PIP is designed so that you have to "intentionally" document and complete all of your on-going deliverables sooner than later so that the next guy replacing you has a complete dossier on what your current job is so that the transition is "smoother" for your manager and the new employee (probably in Bengaluru Technology Center) that will replace you.

It’s happening because your managers are playing the game of rotating who gets the PIP each year because they don’t have an obvious candidate they want to get rid of. If they wanted you gone, no doubt you would feel it.

Well mine talks a good game but I don't know if i will pass. They lie about everything and I don't trust them. I knew an employee that thought hr and his supervisor were on his side. Lots of encouragement and supposed help. In the end he did not fully complete one pip assignment and was let go. The slimy supervisor looked him straight in the eyes and told him there was nothing they could do. During the plan the supervisor did not tell the pipee he was not completing the one task. No one is your friend. They are doing a job and if that job is to get rid of you they will.

If there is a predetermined trim percentage.........saving you means they need to fire someone else. If you want to give it a fair shot, go for it, but I would suggest to also look for other employment on the side. Odds not on your side.

lol your supervisor is just doing their job! To show that they are working… whether you pass or fail, honestly they don’t care.

Once you are in the dumpster, do you think you have a career here?
