While hiring in India continues at a record pace and the Houston and Midland offices are overrun by expats from India, layoffs are announced in the USA of American citizens. I see no way to interpret the email from yesterday on elimination of NRE and more aggressive separation rules. The number of Indian expats in the US is particularly insulting. Laying off while bringing in Indian expats at the same time.

@c2 no layoffs were announced. People who can’t read or comprehend got their pa-ties in a wad because they can’t be dead weight anymore as soon as they hit 52. Sorry folks you’ll have to actually keep working if you want to get paid, no matter how “toxic” or barbaric you think that is
Europe already decimated due to the 2 hub model. This is evolving to the 1.5 hub model.
This is America...
Where were these layoffs announced? I guess this was sent to just the folks in spring? Anything with Ops?
@be they are not, phyuckers can’t even shower
DW hates employees
@be Cheaper is all. Definitely not superior.
Based on the posts here, looks like there are 23k employees in the US. Maybe half would survive? So 50% chance? Hiring in Bangalore will increase so you’ll see a deeper cut in US. Any high cost country outside the US is already done so those folks should just leave now. It’s really criminal how such an amazing pool of talent is being poorly managed.
Maybe you should ask yourself why Indians are superior to US educated folks.
indian folks really doing a great job there...they have produced better work quality than those in houston..keep soaring high my indian colleague...
Anyone know what the target head count is for Houston hub and for Bangalore hub and what current headcount is?
