Got RIF'd, 60 day garden leave, standard 2 weeks for every year, blah blah blah. I have (former lol) coworkers calling me asking me where I am, asking if I can help with X or Y when I'm "back from vacation." Seems like management isn't telling their teams anything about the sudden voids in the roster.

I see most of the H1B Jobs are safe so it is a crime to be a US Citizen:-)
@c2 I think WARN Notices are posted by the State's Department of Labor AFTER the actual, official Layoffs are done.
It's also based on the past 30 days. So if 100+ were laidoff during a 30 day period, then Dept of Labor website will show the WARN Notice for the company.
@a6 Garden leave counts. At least it did for me. I’m pretty sure 401k is still paid.
Still waiting for anything from HR.
I’m in Tampa and got no warn notice and found none posted with the state.
@a6 yes, the time up through termination date counts and yes, your regular paychecks during non-working time will still put your 401k allocations in for you if you don't change your settings. Severance pay does not, and for any unused PTO, I am not yet sure. I was in the Jan 14th wave and just got the severance paperwork late yesterday, so they are getting better on timing! Friends laid off last March didn't get papers until Mid-June.
@OP it’s weird people at Citi don’t let other people no what’s happened to them.. I left on my own terms and let everyone know on the way out. Also told them not to send any wor’ to me on my 2 week notice.
Citi leadership do not know empathy
Sorry to hear the news. Good luck. Am preparing to be on the Mar RIF (hearing around Mar 11). Does anyone know if WARN notice (garden leave) counts towards tenure for determining severance? and does Citi continue to 401k match during this time ?
@OP I managed a team, half in Tampa, half in Manila. They riffed me and my Tampa team on Tuesday.
I connected with a member of the Manila team today. No one even had the courtesy to reach out to them and tell them anything.
So sad the lack of human decency in this Sr leadership team 😕
