He doesn't speak to any individual contributor. He just cuts without seeing the results. He's been at it for a while so I am sure he is good with it.
Double whammy, not only are we not going to rid ourselves of the most loathed C-suite employee in this company, this award is based on market cap and free cash flow targets, so basically he's going to a) keep cutting heads, and b) make life at Dell even worse for those who sadly remain. Should be a fun next six years.
Now maybe he can afford some business attire. He looks like he wants to be on The Big Bang Theory show.

The article says the stock options bonus requires his employment through 2031, so you can rest assured he won't go anywhere for the next 5 years.
