That's all I have to say. I'm so dissapointed in this sh---y company.

@sv Maybe as important, they don't want to compete.
@c0 I right we should be honored to have the privilege to be allowed to work here (some for many years) while we watch the company go down the po---r due to continued mismanagement and poor exec leadership. He-l maybe we should all pay paramount for letting us work here while the workload just increases and increases.
@sf they can't poach from silicon valley unless they seriously change their compensation. i just left, saw my backfill will be paid similar to what i was getting, but my new job is giving me ~2x. company can't afford to be competitive
Plan is to start lowering expectations. New and future employees will mind the lower stip less than old timers — who they hope will leave. Totally not fair but probably their thinking. Don’t be surprised if in the future the stip and comp is different for the types they need to poach from Silicon Valley. They have no reason to retain marketing finance ops legal and content folks they can find anywhere since the studio world is shrinking. I don’t wish this on us but it seems to be where it’s all going
Although I get those who condemn some of us for complaining about the STIP, It was negotiated as part of our pay structure. The last year was a sh-t show with layoffs and restructuring. The least the Company could do is give 100%. Just another reason to look elsewhere. The rest of this year is going to be another disaster with imminent consolidation and layoffs coming. The time is now to get out with a job in hand.
Confirmed…showed up in SAP a little while ago. 94% is better than nothing but I am
still disappointed. Oh well at least Netflix got their $2,800,000,000 Friday right? RIGHT?
This WBD merger is not a good thing. More layoffs…on both sides. Also more changes to legacy programs…STIP. Those that are left…bide your time until you get a package.
Sorry. We don't speak lotto
Terrible Toxic Energy in this group. Try to be kind and compassionate. There is too much negative already from the top. The whole point of this group is to help people navigate through it, especially with more rounds layoffs coming…
@e9 You're probably a bottom dweller who never accomplished much in life. No wonder you're such a loser.
@c0 You're a bootlicking POS loser. GFY.
@fn Fu--ing liar.
@fn um no. Last wed was a regular payday for salary. The stip payout (if eligible, which is part of compensation package for some/many employees) is on 3/9. It is an “extra” payout not part of regular bi-weekly (if on that schedule) pay structure
@fn Wrong
@b4 payout was this past Wednesday. Maybe you are not getting a STIP payout.
@e9 I am not going to apologize for being bonus eligible, which is part of my compensation package. I worked extremely hard to get to a level where I received this. And while I am very grateful, I am still allowed to be annoyed about the sh*tty business choices leadership is making
it takes just one or 2 d-mb exec decisions to wipe profitability away. So they cover up for it with layoffs and playing with the bonuses. Thats what this all is.
@ez you’re a loser.
@c0 you’re and id--t and a bootlicker
@ap as someone who was just laid off and is still looking for work, I can assure you unemployment is better than working in that abusive work environment It. I at least have peace now and can freelance in the interim
How many people are actually involved with STIP that it warrants countless boring posts for the rest of us. It is what it is, which is beyond anybody's control . Deal with it and spare the rest of us already
@ec i'm sure people would be more inclined to help make a profit if they were paying well enough.
either increase the salaries to be industry standard or allow continued remote work. it's not that difficult to understand.
@OP this is a statement from nepo and his uncle Jeff that the days of free spending are over. You want full bonus? Help us make a profit.
Not everyone in the company gets a bonus, so with that in mind, have some gratitude for something where thousands of people were let go, and mulitple upcoming rounds coming up…
@c0 cry harder
This absolutely su-ks. they overpay for ufc and duffer bros. Buy bari Weiss business and get rid of Taylor sheridan. Now they overpaid for wbd. We won’t see 100% again. Not to mention that if you get any stock options, the ownership basically has no interest in seeing the stock go up.
@c0 hate it when i feel "entitled" to (checks notes) compensation that is an explicit condition of my employment. kys
I cannot believe the level of discourse I see in comments on this site… are you people actually my fellow coworkers? Are you adults who have ever had a real job before? The entitlement is incredible.
@bx su-k Ellison’s pedo di-k. This remote worker is going to enjoy his almost one year of full severance while you continue licking maga boots.
@bx Who said anything about remote workers? Newsflash partner, most of us are back in an office. And I feel entitled to complain specifically because of that, thank you very much.
You are pathetic. Don’t complain. You are lucky to be getting anything. You remote workers are so entitled. Get another job…don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
@b9 Dude, this is an online gossip site. Literally every post is people ranting.
Dude, this is not the place for venting. If you are so upset and so resentful about your employer, you have the free will to seek a better employment. You realize that not everyone under paramount global is eligible for STIP right?
@b4 Thank you!
@b3 Email went out to people leaders this morning. My manager shared my comp statement with me. You should get an email on Monday letting you know your statement is available. Payout date is 3/9.
How did you find out? I’m looking under success factors and I don’t see a letter and no word from my boss.
@ap they have always paid us less knowing part of the compensation is coming from STIP. yet there is still 2.8B to give to Netlfx for them backing out the sinking ship that is purchasing WBD.
@ap I agree and I am definitely grateful, but watching $3.2 billion waltz out the door into Netflix’s hand of Nepo Baby’s tantrums is definitely hard to stomach.
Not to be a party po---r but based on the job market and knowing co-workers that were laid off previously that still have not found gigs, I would say, this is better than nothing.
Yes, it su-ks that we feel short changed but bonus is a bonus (meaning not guaranteed) and given the market, I would be grateful that we still have a bonus.
God knows if they will even continue the STIP going forward. What a joke.
