Refusing to do RTO?

For those that have a RTO order and continued to WFH, have you faced any consequences?

"It's material for SG30+ with 20, 25, 30%. 26-28 with 2-10% it's not as big of a hit of total comp, though most painful against cost of living. For SLT/ELT it's RSUs that really matter (32 gets $100k RSU on top of a ~$75k RRP).

Open secret is that 50% company target allows for 200% payouts for the in crowd and 30+."

Wow! Must be certain 30s+ only. A few grand max is all my team of 30+ have seen but we are in a cost center not sales or biz dev. I am not complaining, just stunned to see figures this high.

I was in the other day and saw they discontinued the cheap Fresca/Soda Water. Haha this fu---n' place. Any way to cash in on any and every one. Especially its churls.

@c0 There will ALWAYS be RRP. Whether you or I get it is another story. Company-wide 50%>zero, but lower than expected if you're getting a 3, 4, or 5.

Metric is 4 days per week. Not sure if that's 4 swipes per week or 3.5 rounds up to 4 for an average (holidays, PTO).

Swipe metrics will be recorded and reported. Failure to meet the established metric will result in discipline up to and including termination. May not fire you immediately, but if you get a 3 or less your RRP gets a big hit, 1-2 get nothing; 2 is a CAP, and 1 is you're out the door.

Your direct manager may want to keep you, but Erin from HR is the ultimate arbiter, not your boss. This is a loyalty/follows direction test and any thing they can ding you for will get you the boot.

@bw thanks for responding! When I started at Optum years ago I was briefly in office on the 4th floor. Never been to the 11th floor, now I want to check out their break room

11th floor. They have the best “break room” of any though on the flip side.

I can say that it’s very boss-specific at the MN HQ. When Hybrid went to always-in, some teams have since been here 5 days a week 8a-630p, others maybe once a week in and the rest remote.

Most jobs at Optum are zero-collaborating. Just grinding out the work product. If you are in marketing though that floor is always packed it seems.
