Regarding commuting, in decent weather I would gladly ride my bike. But they closed the fitness centers, locker rooms and showers.

As for more CO2, You left out MD’s private 787. How much CO2 does that spew in one flight.

Excellent analysis. Still so weird that MD was being lauded as a pioneer in WFH / remote work years back and now he’s changed his entire outlook. I’m predicting that this cluster will result in about 5k people leaving and then we return to 3 days onsite. Forced attrition !
