EV Charging

Now that we have EV charging in Midland, when will other offices? I have heard that Houston Campus will install charging stations in 2025. Can anyone confirm?

Where's the controls people? Spend 2 dollars more than the approved policy on something and they're up your a-s. Steal electricity, who cares?

Charging unmetered at EMHC is stealing. Your EV can’t stay charged long enough to commute to work? Theft.

@by+1jhpkv43a We've had a few people charging unmetered for a couple of years, the site is finally outting in approved chargers that will be metered and that is the expectation. They likened it to how the gas discount is provided.

I used to think people that drive an EV to work at EM were showing a lack of commitment to oil, but now we have Lithium projects and power generation projects and Battery Materials projects so EVs are more acceptable.

I would like to see more CNG and Propane cars on the market, or just EV trucks that do not look absolutely ridiculous.

We were told when Campus was under construction that charging would be available in the garages. When we moved to Campus there were no charging stations but many columns had 110 volt sockets. I know two guys that would park at these 110 volt outlets and charge their cars all day unmetered. One day security placed a notice on one of those cars accusing the guy of stealing electricity and if he was found plugged in again that legal action would be taken be taken. That was 10 years ago and still no charging stations.
