What a shame for Intel. Can you make advanced chip for Apple, AMD, and all others? You can not, you do not have the capability. You shoot your foot! Trump blames TSMC taking customer from Intel, this is a lie. Shame for Intel to use politics to knock down TSMC. Shame on you!!

If TSMC moves their personnel and assets to this US-based venture then the island can be reunified, and everyone can live happily ever after.
It is a win-win.
@bx+1jm3cgrqq Intel “doesn’t want” TSMC… if nothing else is Trump who’s think this forced partnership may work. Who knows? It might, it might not. But 18A is in better shape than 10 nm was under BK, that’s all I’m saying. Intel more than technical help, it needs money… fabs ain’t cheap, boy!
One guess where OP is from.
If it is a different ball game now, why does Intel still want TSMC to help revive the 2nm and 3nm processes?
@ba+1jm3cgrqq Intel was stubborn in not using EUV. Since then, it has adopted it and it has gone as far as also adopting the latest EUV machines by ASML. It is a different ball game now than back with 10 nm and BK.
Intel already choked and died 5 years ago with 10 nm manufacturing. Why do you still believe it can make less than 2nm manufacturing? Politic or financial manipulation won’t work. Only education and innovation can help but it is also too late to rescue unless the id--ts don’t hold on in their positions to make any important decision
TD would be gone.
Intel has become a sad joke and prop for Donald and other perverse kklowns.
Who cares? Let’s Make Intel Great Again.
Hey TD you do realize that there is massive layoffs coming right? Especially for ALL MANAGEMENT.
Once TSMC links up with Intel as an American company, then the island can be reunified.
So its a win-win.
I am totally with you. In the long run, Intelizing TSMC can only weaken US competitiveness against China. Can US force the biggest semiconductor manufacturer in China to merge with Intel(or whatever the name) then?
