$65 billion loss: A 12 month “transition period”? What does that mean for you?

If you live/work out of one of the states mentioned below, you’re going to be on pins and needles for most, if not all of 2024. Good luck “transitioning”.

The $65.1 billion contract, held by Centene for years through its Health Net Federal Services subsidiary, includes a 12-month transition-in period plus eight one-year option periods, a Defense Department spokesman said. The west includes 1.5 million beneficiaries in Arkansas, Illinois, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas and Wisconsin

@vuy+1ppj1nM0 yes they lost their contracts, they didn't comply with the legal letters they were sent to comply with regulations so they couldn't be chosen as the provider going forward.

The question you should be asking yourself is how far, operationally, did that revenue go? I’m thinking it went well beyond HealthNet Federal. #HoldOnTight

It has been well-known that Health Net Federal would be downsizing for some time. No new info here.

Yes they are hiring into those positions. They’re losing people over this. Most of the hiring managers are candid that the position you are offered you may not exist in a year and there are no guarantees.

I thought they lost their Federal contracts through Health Net? I was initially hired on by Centene to help clean up that mess in 2017 after they were accused of fraud worth over 50 million?
