@14r you guys in the US are really clueless about communism. There is no communism in China.
China's economy is a blend of state capitalism and market socialism rather than pure Marxism-Leninism. It is a one-party authoritarian state with private ownership and significant wealth inequality. It's more correct to call it authoritarian state capitalism.
Mao era was the closest one to traditional communism and that worked out spectacularly, didn't it.

my former boss also talks highly of China. that US should be careful in dealing with China because China is very powerful. I dont understand these people. If they hate America that much and wants to be part of communism why are they even here.

@bv equality - not really. prosperity is a no. why do you think the chinese wants to come to the US if it is so great there. why do they even go through the difficult path of passing through the jungles in central america, paying the cartels just to cross the US borders. also why do you think they get pregnant and have them delivered here if it is so great in China. even Hong Kong protested alot against the communist party. do you even know what you are saying. tons of people disappear there for no reason.
