Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Let's embarrass him on the largest scale

You know what would REALLY make him mad? Imagine if he's NOT confirmed by the Senate; he would be so embarrassed. It would be wonderful!

There are a few easy things we can all do from our phones in our free time.

Here's my advice:

  • Find every online article you can on his nomination and reply to the editor/author (there's always a link at the bottom) with a link to the Fiserv-specific page on this site (https://www.thelayoff.com/fiserv); focus on articles from publications that lean left so they're more likely to take interest.
  • Email your senators about how incompetent and dangerous he is from a leadership standpoint. Click on their names at the following link (list of all state senators): https://www.senate.gov/senators/. Look for a "Contact" which should allow you to email them.
  • Call your senators. Use the same link above. All telephone numbers are preceded by 202-22 with the last 5 digits in the rightmost column on that page.
  • ONLY state facts. Your messages must be as objective as possible so they get attention. If your messages can be construed as "whining" or "disgruntled", they will be ignored.

Some of you may think confirmation of his nomination will rid you of his destructive influence on Fiserv but it won't. It's best to instead concentrate on keeping his grubby little fingers off our long-term future.

Say it with me now, "Government services are not businesses and should not be run like businesses." This goes doubly so if you only know how to run a business by artificially propping up the financials with shady tactics like layoffs right before SEC fillings are due.

Frank has zero chance at success with the SSA by any metric "we the people" would use, but that's not the rubric being assumed. His success will be measured by how much he destroys the SSA, or makes it look as if the SSA is destroyed. This has been stated out loud by a number of Republicans.

“I would think as a US taxpayer, you ould be experiencing schadenfreude with this appt! I am. Let the bloated govt departments feel some pressure about changing and updating old and inefficient systems. Let poor performers feel like they need to up their game or risk termination. Do you think a govt employee was ever put in a 9 box? Let him go and wish him well. If he succeeds, we all benefit.”
🤣🤣🤣

LOL. We benefit from what?! Franken Bot ‘effed up fiserv, he’ll surely ‘eff up social security. How does this benefit us?!

If you look up stories of him being nominated on LinkedIn and read the comments, pretty much all of them are opposed to the nomination, i don't think I read one positive comment.

@3txg+1vRQcUE6 the problem here is you are not describing how he runs fiserv at all. This company is a stock ponzi scheme for the last few years.

@1mub+1vRQcUE6 I don't own stock and Fiserv isn't a meritocracy that values it's best talent so who cares.

Speak for yourself!!! Probably most of us do not own stock.. can’t afford it! 1 and 2% increases cannot even keep us up to pay bills and provide food and family needs. Company does very little for associates.. just saying thank you is not enough!

Sorry. I’d rather he move on instead of be embarrassed and take it out on us.

Don't hold your breath. Current cohort of politicians are every bit as corrupt as this one.

It's even funnier in the financial reports that they justify their salaries due to being on the same level as Blackrock, American Express, etc.

++Funnier
Financial reports seem to be pointing Fiserv's "future" to SMB. Not sure what's going on with the other departments.

You must be a newly hired HR person, you probably have been part of the Massive layoffs with Frank since 2020. His takeover as CEO, President, and Chairman of the BD does not make him a good businessman, or one who cares about the Clients HE serves. He has forgotten that. Clients are leaving in droves! How does that make him a good Business Leader? - Answer me that question. It makes him authoritative, paranoid, self-serving. Look at his contract. That man (with your help) has destroyed untold lives of employees and our clients. Thank you for your comments, but one day, you will be on the List to leave thanks to FB, and will be signing a different tune.

Amusing but sad desperation.

If you think after all these years in the business with the profile of job Frank has held, that there is some random stormy daniels dirt lurking that nobody knew about then carry on.

Just because you don’t like him, doesn’t mean you’re right.

There is one huge problem. If he doesn’t get confirmed, be prepared for a wrath of vengeance. He will take it out on every employee in Fiserv. He is a very vindictive little man that doesn’t take well to losing.

Many of us are also stockholders. We're responsible for the success of the company as employees, and have a vested interest in that success as stick holders.

You heard him everybody. Stop Fiserv from running. Frank will do it all by himself!

This is sad. Even sadder when spoken from adults. As much as I do not agree with the way things have been and how they are, Fiserv is not your company to run. You are paid to do whatever it is you were hired to do. You are not the CEO. Do your job or get the f out.

Looking at this from an outsider perspective, frank is going to look like one of the most reasonable choices trump has made. This means his conformation might be given a lighter touch since there will be bigger fish to fry. Putting our elected officials on notice of this fact isn't a bad idea. Especially given that the republican party is stating out loud and with their whole chest that they want to tank Medicare. Medicare. And social Security. And let's face it, if frank has a skill, it's tanking an org.

He's a terrible man but I think the senate and public is more concerned with others being nominated that have a history of s-xual as--ult etc. I don't know if a bunch of disgruntled employees are going to pull a lot of weight. It's worth a shot but in the scheme of things, he's one terrible person on a long list of terrible people and it's all relative.

Or maybe you should just get a new job and seek therapy. "At will" employment is a two way street. You don't have to stay with the company if you don't want to be there.

OP is knowledgeable and gives clear directions. It doesn't sound like a trap. I would actually say, OP sounds like a good candidate to right this ship. Sounds like s/he can give transparent missions and goals.
