Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel hasn't 'failed'. It is merely an incomplete success.

Choose to see the fabs half empty but they are actually half full.

Half full or half empty... you can see it either way. The fact is both are views of a fab losing money. You can put whatever spin you want on it but the results are the same.

You have completely failed, by saying "incomplete success".

@buv wafers are made of glass so maybe it is the wafers that are half full (of good die)?

More than five years failed already. How many more years for a metal illness to realize the facts?

This was literally a "FIELD of DREAMS". Build multi-billion dollars fabs and the customers will come. What a joke.

Such remarks are often made by the management who always try to pretend all is OK. Nobody's buying "creative writing" pieces anymore. All is heading down unfortunately...Wait for 2025.

Everything in the world of business is relative. If your competitor is at full capacity and you are not. Then you are at least not as successful.
