Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Yeary and BoD was the true problem all along

https://archive.md/XBxKl
Fire Yeary and clear the BoD ASAP. They are actively trying to ki-l the company.
LBT was actually trying to save the company and your jobs.

Not to defend Yeary, but he can certainly see what the gov't has wanted for some time now, so why borrow more to keep IFS afloat when he has the gov't there to potentially force TSMC to pay for everything?

Likewise, even if IFS is pushed through Ch11 before TSMC will invest, isn't that also the best option?

None of this is good for employees, but Yeary is not focused on their interests.

Hopefully the people who actually work at Intel understand the dynamic that is playing out here.

This is all about Yeary playing to the wishes of the administration, not LBT.

LBT would likely be totally fine eventually splitting off foundry, after it is cleaned up and at least closer to breakeven.

Do that right now and the whole mess has to be cleaned up without capital support from Intel. That means mass layoffs and fab sales, and maybe a prearranged bankruptcy as well.

But LBT is likely going to have to bend the knee to suit the timeline the govt wants, so get ready for some real te---r if you work in Foundry, cause it is coming.

Yeary is apparently trying to slow down or undermine LBT.

Yeary really needs to go. He represents the worst of Ye Olde Intel.

Customers have been telling Yeary that they won't sign up till IFS is spun off. They basically are saying they don't want to do business with Yeary et al.

Many unaware employees hope he steps down, which is so pitiful. If we don't cut our losses and make tough decisions, everyone will lose their jobs!
