Qualcomm is trash these days. Its not a compliment to say someone went there. lol
intel hired top guys from qualcomm. You really don't know the industry. Cormac C, Messay, Damaan, etc.. these are qualcomm's top guys. QCOM was happy to rid of them. We hired them gave titles and rewards beyond their expertise level.
In 2015-2019 when Intel won the 4G modem business at Apple, QCOM was in big trouble. Intel hired all the “top” guys from QCOM to work on 5G. Couldn’t deliver and Intel lost the Apple business and eventually sold it to them. Let’s hope these guys return the favor.

he was terrible and was responsible for Intel's data center share loss. Unfortunately, the real architects of Intel's current problems landed good positions at AMD, Nvidia, QCOM, Applied, Synopsys as CFOs, engineering leaders etc. It doesn't matter. qualcomm hired anand chandrasekher and other intel losers, intel hired murthy, amir faintuch and other qcom losers. Both companies suffered from these bad hires. You may think that at some point they learn their lesson. Oh well.
Isn’t weird there are folks from same highschool in India all here? Not one person from my US based highschool works here with me. Not one. But there are like half a dozen from the same class all here from the same Indian school….. it’s so odd
Qualcomm had previously hired the lead architect of the DEC Alpha to lead the ARM server division. The project went nowhere, and he was let go. I like how Qualcomm is dipping their toes into many areas beyond mobile, but wouldn't be surprised if this is a "caste" hire, who happens to be of the same origin.
Lots of haters probably conspired to get him the 👢 and now he's going to QC to steal Intel's business. Good luck having a job in 2 years su-kas
