Five9 is replacing pretty much every department with cheap Indian labor. I predict there will be a mass mass layoff removing everyone in the US with some execs left in the USA. The investments into massive Indian offices means it’s time to bounce. The Burkland family will have to pay for their sins one way or another. It isn’t a question of whether you will be laid off, but when. If you aren’t trying to leave right now, you’re going to find yourself with measly severance in the worst job crisis this country has ever had.

@a6 Kevin shouldn't worry about foreign workers. First, he should concentrate on why men are avoiding college and so making room for foreign students.
After that, he should sit back and realize India is just a pit stop to code development being written by AI with a tenth of the workers needed to check AI's work.
The most long-term, higher-paying career paths for high school graduates are electricians, plumbers, vehicle mechanics, aviation mechanics. Basically anything it will take a long time for AI or robotics to take away.
