I guess he doesn't have access to a telephone, text or instant messaging. Many people can multitask and participate in multiple conversations simultaneously in the time of one drive by, in person interruption. You want in person... you're going to get it, 40 hours and not a second more. This is a silent layoff, good luck everyone.

I know all the India senior managers/directors in ISG all love the back to work policy. I'm told nothing beats face to face interaction where facial and body reactions, tone of voice, etc can be used as part of communication. Stuff you don't get on a text or zoom. And yes, it's five days in the office, not four, not three, not five this week and four next week. It will be closely monitored.
@bx+1jm150amg you're a bit dramatic....you sound like lizzy warren spoutimg out lies and innuendos to stir everyone up. Give it a rest.
I won’t be using teams anymore in the office, I will be collaborating in person as requested. If you need me come find me :)
Why are there /pol/tards in my layoff feed
RFK should make all the pro-vaxxers get every vax currently outlined in list of recommended vaccines
Emails, Teams and Instant messaging is great and works but nothing works better than getting in someone's face that's been dodging you.
The thing is, Mike, it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.
It's a problem of motivation, all right? Now if I work my a-s off and Dell ships a few extra units, I still don’t see a raise, so where's the motivation? And here's something else, Mike: I have to sit here for 8 hours now.
Eight, Mike. So that means that when I finish my work, I have eight different hours coming by to pretend to be busy for your little surprise walks. That's my only real motivation is not to be hassled, that and the fear of losing my job. But you know, Mike, that will only make someone work just hard enough not to get fired.
At what point do y'all on the right just admit you were wrong? Will you take this love of Trump to the grave? Will it take losing a family member? Or more likely a pet since it seems you have no empathy for people?
Do you know who is causing all this pain at Dell? The same group of evil tech overlords dictating every move our government is making.
Forget being nice and trying to placate your smooth brains. If this was the Titanic you would be blaming the port workers for hitting the iceberg and the 3rd class ticket holders for the rich taking the only lifeboats. If that sounds stupid it's because it is, but also exactly how you sound.
thank your last president for the influx of measles you toad. We had it eradicated.
An antivaxxer is leading the FDA. Measles and Polio are making a come back. Kids are being infected with measles and their antivaxxer parents who were vaccinated as children are watching their Children suffer from a once near eradicated virus. Great time to be crammed into an office, in close quarters and poor ventilation plus filthy restrooms. All to protect the corporate real estate market from collapsing. The billionaires love their obsolete skyscrapers and skylines.
This ain’t anything new, it’s been in the works for a while. Over 2.5 years ago, I was getting copied on emails where JC was repeatedly pushing leaders, asking how soon we’d start seeing headcount drop once AI kicked in.
Fibre optic cables have entered the chat
My team is on five continents and 10 different time zones. Going to need them to approve a travel budget to accomplish the face to face in-person collaboration they seek.
Maybe the leaked email from BS telling sales leaders to fire anyone that has not completed the trainings on time. "We have lost the rigor we once had on how we run this business and need to get it back YESTERDAY..."
People who insist on WFH are easy pickins ... low hanging fruit. If you want to leave, leave.
Many more layoffs on the horizon in addition to the people driven out by RTO.
