Disappointing interview experience for the Tech Zone in Carrolton Texas

I completed 3 interviews with TR for a position with the Tech Zone in Carrolton, only to be told at the very end that they are no longer hiring for the position. Why interview for a position you aren't really hiring for??!!! So frustrating!! I was absolutely the best candidate for the position too.

Doesn’t fulfill EEOC requirements. The candidate pipeline at TR is EXTREMELY dry (have visibility with my role). They aren’t interviewing people because nobody is applying except for the internal candidate that isn’t qualified.

Posting jobs in the US only fulfills EEOC opportunity requirements. The jobs aren't real. They needed your interview to report on their statistics.

You’re not the only one to experience this. Consider it a bullet dodged. Posting a job only to tell candidates the job has now vanished shows extreme instability. Imagine working at a company where your team is understaffed and being told that we can no longer afford to hire the candidate you just interviewed. Inane

@OP+1iya335H - Why interview for a position that is no longer being offered? That's easy. HR is pretty bad.

Consider yourself lucky that you didn't get the role, and that you weren't trampled by the stampede of people running to get away.
