Rewards budget is horrible this year Considering the good revenue year cisco declared, don’t expect many promotions

@e5 thanks for the update. Are you a FLM ? No ba--s to ask a question which you know your team is looking for ? What sort of a manager are you ? Let me guess - one who is sub to boss but manager to the team ?

@dxToday’s leadership check-in was honestly a mess. Way too much generic “welcome from [insert name here]” corporate speak and obvious brown-nosing.

Everything was all sunshine and rainbows - talking up our “inspiring Q4” and “fantastic FY25” - but zero mention of the layoffs or the disappointing merit increases and stock allocation.

Would be refreshing to see some actual transparency from our executive leadership team for once.

Was there anything groundbreaking in the leadership meeting today?

@OP
So directors and up are handling merit raises and promotions this year (they want to make sure it’s done thoughtfully 😊) - that’s the only change from last year. Next round will be in May.

Directors+ have been doing stock allocation since last year, though hopefully they’re still getting input from their managers like they did with me.

Just finished the bonus process and was actually able to be more generous with IPF than last year, which was a nice surprise.

Depends on what gender and s-xual preference you have. What if I said I could give you a guaranteed path to promotion at Cisco?

you shall be happy to have a bonus now.. many people don't have one outside few companies that has it.. beside the aws meta and few others , rest is just scraping by this and next year..

Promotions at Cisco are just title changes now, and they are worth nothing. Since Cisco now has massively negative reputational value, your new title means nothing.

Are you a "director" at Cisco? You make less than a new grad at Meta. You as a director cannot afford to buy a house from someone who is in DevOps at Netflix.

Cisco's recent profit was just scraping by when other tech companies are blowing out earnings. This is why the stock is falling now.

I really hope this isn’t the case for my team. Last year was really bad too. 😞
