Completely false. I’ve encouraged my team members to apply to other orgs as it’s the only way to get a solid raise at Dell without quitting and returning.

The ones who didn’t get the job are still around.

"What about the annual bonus?"

As of a few weeks ago, they said were trending below 100%, but still had to get through Q4 so it may change

@bmkt+1kjAo19Y - guaranteed in January, going to be the Red Wedding this year. February is unlikely, that would be atypical for Dell.

Trying to navigate these waters. In all seriousness are layoffs a sure thing come January or February? I am a key contributor, not a manager, middle aged, stellar annual reviews, and just hoping to survive this cr-p until retirement.

“alot of dell senior employees past retirement ages.
always wondered if they were just waiting for the layoff fpackage as well”

What’s past retirement age to you? Good thing not in HR are or you’d be terminated quick with language like that pal.

Here we go again, getting my hopes up about finally getting laid off. I have been trying to get laid off for the past 5 years. Each time there is a layoff I don't manage to make the list.

My fingers are crossed.

At DELL you don't go to the bottom of the "pecking order" (In the Dell Technologies division at least, so rail, storage, ppdm, ect). Every year managers perform a stack rank. If your a High Potential you goto the top and if not you goto the bottom. Overall it's a good place to work, loads of training, remote work, decent pay, and opportunities to advance.

just remember if you move to another internal job you go to the bottom of the pecking order, and could be 1st in line for the next layoff. But if you're already ranked near the bottom in your existing team you have nothing to lose.

will you quit it with the d-mb LinkedIn comments. The same post is in every thread in some way , shape or form. We get it, you're offended by LinkedIn posts. You won't be marked for layoff if you post internal, where did you hear that nonsense.

If you want to be miserable then go ahead and apply. See many on Linkdin posing you know things are peachy and they create illusions.
