Has anyone heard the rumor that WF is tracking on camera time?

We have cameras on entrances. If they wanna track Susie going to the car 3 times during the day, we have deeper problems in this company. 🤦♀️🚩
Being on camera isn't my job.
I haven't used my camera for a call in ages. No one has said a thing.
I assume at this point these are either trolls or people that need to be submitted for psychiatric evaluation.

A month ago 2 cameras were installed covering both entrances to our suite. My first thought is they are checking for time in the office.
@b6+1jm0e1g39 as absurd as it sounds, rumors start all the time at Wells Fargo.
The badge in/out reports, hours spent in office reports— how much does compiling the reports and being a tattletale pay?

Not on your laptop but your corporate iphone or byod. It also tracks location in real time
This site has the worst trolling - camera time, it’s not even logical - why would anyone care about measuring that?
Just set up long calls with yourself and point the camera at a bottle of Windex.
I’m in HR and I haven’t been on camera in years 😂
I don't know about Wells, but I know some other companies are using camera time.
Where did you hear that? My camera has a post it all the time except when used which is 1/2 hour every other week.
lol, no.
Specifically tracking “what” about on camera time?
My laptop remains closed (docking station) all day, I only use external monitors. My camera isn’t visible unless I’m actually using it for a team call/meeting.
And how would it matter? Serious question.
There is no mandate to use a camera for any period of time (other than by specific leaders for specific meetings) so it’s not like NOT being on camera can have any negative affects. And I can’t imagine a scenario where anyone is on camera for extended periods of time like they are chatting with their bestie. So let them track on camera time. I’m busy working or yankinit and I don’t need a camera for any of that. Just a mirror.
They use the cameras to ensure that when you die they alert the "cleaning squad" appropriately. Don't want another 4 day until found occurrence again.
Well, yeah, Teams tracks all of that. Just like calls and IMs. Why would you think differently for video calls?
Not only that Wells expect us to work too. How dare they? So obnoxious!!!
called AIVision to keep track of employee productivity
