Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Well it happened

April 28, right after my scrum team meeting. The axe fell!

Just getting back to work and RTO after being in the hospital then recovering while working full time from home. Thanks for the effort to continue your responsibilities, Oh, BTW, you're out!

OP has probably been “recovering” from surgery since RTO started.

We all know THAT employee.

If you got severance, count yourself as one of the lucky ones. Sorry your are having to go through this, especially with health bills piling up, but a year from now you will be saying this was the best thing that could have happened. Please accept both my sympathies and congratulations.

If you had a job accommodation to work from home, you may need to contact an employment attorney in your state. Don’t listen to the “at will” folks, either.
