When there is a spill, explosion, or death that gets traced back to TSI, will there be any accountability?

you are wrong about rcc. 4 engineers have been made redundant.

@d3+1jsja2m9t - You are wrong on this. Engineers and others have and do care about the jobs moving as it was obvious that once the process started it would not be limited to certain functions. There are also language and knowledge barriers that make these moves harder for employees to do their jobs. Leadership does not care about the opinions of engineers and others. Their decisions are based on what makes them look good, what helps them get promoted and perceived stock price impacts.

Not true…. The RCC has not been made redundant. The one in Westlake covers the Western Hemisphere and there is another RCC in Sunbury for the Eastern Hemisphere. They are hiring 4-6 spots in Pune to serve as back office support, even though their VP is saying that it is not “back office support”.

There is only like 2 BP staff in either RCC at all times and everyone else is Schlumberger contractors.

Lol suddenly engineers care about offshoring. They sure didn’t mind it when the cost cutting hurt other people but benefitted them.

the people that worked at the rcc which is the remote control center in goa were made redundant. the rcc was started after Macondo to ensure that there was someone auditing bps drilling operations so bp didn’t ki-l more people due to ineptitude and cost cutting. their jobs are going to tsi. there have already been significant concerns about communication issues due to language barriers, and lack of turning by the people that are watching the drilling rigs. travesty.

I know several who have been PIPd and their job sent to TSI. Bp is getting rid of GoM P&O jobs as quickly as they can.
