@ps well what do you know shortly after I posted in here it was like a self fulfilling prophecy that played out just as I said but this time I wasn’t the one delivering the news. Good luck
Our group were officially notified about our layoff first on this site, …. then a few days later we were on a call with HR.
It’s usually a one on one invite within 24 hours of notice from your manager then when you attend the notice HR is present
I just got laid off by Target. I will apply for a cashier job at CVS to hold me over.

If youre a Sr Advisor/ Director above - its usually your direct manager, their boss and a SVP from HR.

What’s the next layoff date?
Are they delivering bagels to our office again? HR person bought them last night. Seems my manager would spend the money now.
Director level delivers news with an HR rep on the call.
