Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Always stay humble-That is the lesson Intel never learned.

The storm is coming. Get the horses in the barn.

“Always stay humble” is the lesson Intel never learned and is the very same reason Intel fab as a service will never succeed. Bad blood runs deep.

Let’s be honest, It never really was an “American” company anyway. If you invested any part of your life to the Intel pipe dream, I’m sorry, you have been used. You are not alone. I hope you are not forever jaded. It’s time to collect the pieces and move on.

Pat learned that behavior from Andy back in the day when Intel dominated..

and the minions just behave like their bosses.

but, you would think after Intel lost leadership position, market share and failed at every new market entry attempt that it would take the shine off the arrogance... but, never happened it is so engrained.

and this is a cultural blind spot that pi---s off customers and makes it much more likely the turn around fails. I hope the lesson is learned, but as Andy used to say, 'hope is not a strategy'...

Horses in the barn? Ya blind man?

The big, bad fire breathing wolf is breaching the city walls. Lip Butane is gonna huff and puff and blow your home and your barn to smoldering piles of charred organic matter while he eats your horses and watches you immolate.

The case study on the destruction of good people’s careers will be more interesting than the tired handwringing and blame-shifting about all of the baboons who have been paid lots of money to make the perfectly wrong decisions over and over.

@bh So true.
Yet many Intel gas bags are still living in the year 2000 when Intel still mattered.
The younger workers are drones only working to payoff mountains of student loans.
