@gz This play on an old quote applies directly to you: “you can lead the Pipmunks social media intern to the truth, but you can’t make them think.” 🤪
You’re on a layoff board accusing people of being “anti-white” and calling executives “Dear Leader,” then telling others to stop with the nonsense. That is rich. turning every thread into personal attacks, race-baiting, and fantasy CEO fan fiction is not analysis. It’s bitterness with a keyboard. IBM has real issues to discuss, but this kind of garbage makes the discussion d-mber, not better.
@ga ibm stock is tanking, ibm software is designed by people who hate humans
So what? Stocks go up and down. Software has been taking a beating. Not just IBM. Arvind is a very competent and capable CEO
It looks like our local IBM shill stopped playing with his badges momentarily to continue his psyops here.
Do you have any proof of that? IBM Has a strong balance sheet with Jim Kavanaugh doing an excellent job managing free cashflow.
Why is this place always negative?
@bb they survive with accounting gimmicks
@bg how many patents you file? Any OTAAs?
@bb Actually calling IBM toxic and run by incompetence is a sign that the person who posted those remarks has been with the company long enough to understand how the company actually runs. Maybe you shouldn't be such a boot l!cker.
Anyone who has that much time to accumulate that many badges should be laid off. Honestly, it is a red flag that someone is dead weight and should be cut loose. This has always been true not just under Arvind's War on Experts. I hope our little Indian Intern gets an important life lesson soon.
Why do you still post here and waste your time? Don’t you think you should spend more time working on your badges?!?
Nobody cares or wants to hear about your badges. Badges are for id--ts a d you are obviously the top id--t with your 75 badges! Get a life before you get laid off from IBM.
Doesn't surprise me that big layoffs are coming with the stock price in free fall. It's the usual playbook for IBM's feckless management. Instead of corralling the talented engineers and developing something original, all they do is react to the market and what other companies are doing. This place is a reed in the wind.
I have 31 badges and over 75 hours of Think 40 learning. How is that incompetent?
@bb you're an incompetent shill. Go play with your badges.
This is just a circlej--kGoto Techrights to read about posts on TheLayoff.com
calling IBM “toxic” and run by “incompetent mo--ns” says more about bitterness than business analysis. IBM is a 100 plus year company that has survived multiple technology cycles because leadership makes tough decisions to stay competitive. Layoffs are painful, but they are not proof of incompetence. They are often part of restructuring, shifting investment, and keeping the company positioned for the future. There’s a difference between criticizing a decision and trashing an entire company because you personally dislike the outcome.
I'm hoping I'm on the list. I'm also hoping it happens by the end of June. I would like to have a paid summer off and 6 months of controlled healthcare costs while I dedicate myself to a job search without IBM and their nonsense getting in my way. This company is a toxic $h!th0!e run by incompetent m0r0n$.
I wish they'd just get on with it then. I'm tired of worrying about it.
