As a union represented tech my job entails turning sc--ws and mounting various sized/ colored boxes on customers houses and buildings. I’ve been doing it for several decades. When I’m unhappy or getting the shaft ( which is more frequent recently) the sc--ws get turned much slower and the boxes don’t go up as fast. Productivity? That’s a hilarious concept. Pride? Gone years ago. Loyalty? A concept for corporate cucks mo--ns. It’s a business transaction - I turn the sc--w and you compensate me.

@OP don’t fall for this BS post. Are there working like this? Ofcourse…in every department, in every line of business. This is not anywhere the majority and I call complete BS on the post.
Any “boxes” on the outside of homes were first introduced in the 90’s so zero chance this person has been installing them for “several decades” lol. When Fios came around in 2005 enclosures became more prominent and then moved toward installing all equipment inside the home years ago. If YOU are installing outside boxes outside all day take a look in the mirror because you aren’t meeting customer’s home aesthetics, nor proper installation.
With tight commitment windows, gps on company phones and vehicles, etc there is no down time
With all that said I still call complete BS on your post from a technical standpoint and attempted troll point. And if it somehow is true what you said (well certainly not the various bones of different sizes for decades) than YOU are the problem not the rest of us.
The unions 100k is the new minimum wage
Inflation ki-led the customers and workforce
@bg I've graduated to moving cells from one spreadsheet to another. I've also become adept at applying a filter and sorting. Next year I'll learn what a pivot table actually is!
The union had got to go they look for ways NOT to work
This is the thing that pi---s me off. I WAS a worker. Completed my tasks and went looking for more. Assisted my teammates, learned new functionality. I liked my job. But, who got let go? Guess who stayed? The one that needed help, couldn't handle pressure, pretended to be busy. There you go, enjoy your choice, hope it works out. I'm going to enjoy retirement.
You got sc--wed
@bg lol
Sc--w turning is for losers, I send pointless emails all day long.
"...my job entails turning sc--ws and mounting various sized/ colored boxes on customers houses and buildings. I’ve been doing it for several decades..."
Suuuure you have poser
I hear one day the goal is to teach humans to do this work.
Same here I especially slow down when I’m doing the work of three people.
