It is definitely being tracked. I see others mentioning IP tracing and badge out but haven’t heard those things, though would not be surprised if they existed. All of the offices I work at there is no “badge out”

Post ID: @bg+1jjca3skw I suppose that's the price of working for a higher paying employer, JPMC, minute by minute surveillance and tracking RTO.
The question is, what is your minimum price, your risk premium?? 1.5x, 2x, 3x etc. your current salary??

The answer is different for everyone. Some people may need daycare/childcare which is Not cheap if you don't have relatives able or willing to help. Other expenses tied to RTO (commuting, parking, etc.) will increase your risk premium.

Even they didn’t track swipes in and out they can easily run reports from your logins and IP addresses. Cit does not currently monitor the in and out like Chase does. Chase has their employees down to the minute.

Post ID: @b2+1jjca3skw Agree. There are news reports about employees who are forced to RTO 3 to 5 days per week are using the Coffee Badging technique.
They badge in only for a few hours to do Zoom calls and then between 12pm to 4pm they leave the office, and maybe continue working from home after that.
And No one wants to encounter the rush hour commute home starting at 5:30pm when the roads and public transportation are so crowded which increases traffic and delays getting home.

If we're going to be forced to RTO, why spend 6 to 8 Fvcken Hours in the office, AND for Dogfood Peanuts salaries and bonuses???!!! $hittibank can Not have it both ways!

@b2+1jjca3skw, making up YOUR own rules and you're not the boss. Citi signs your paycheck. Arrogant! Go start your own business then if you don't like it. Corporations do not need people like you with entitlement such as what you stated. The entitlement of some of you, and no, I don't work in h/r.

The way I look at it, I win either way on the RTO.
If I WFH, sweet I save money.
If they want us back in the office, sweet, I’ll work less than I do now.

Citi is not going to get it both ways. I come into the office 5 days a week AND put in more than 8 hours per day. I’m not going to rush home and log back in.

You get one or the other.
WFH-8+ hrs per day
RTO-ONLY 8 hrs per day.

Pick one Citi because you’re not getting both.

If you work at a site with both badge in and badge out features, they have the ability to track how long you spent in the office, how long you went out for lunch etc... The reports I have been privy to have only shown that a person badged in on a given day and says Y/N that they met the 3 day per week requirement. if you are suspected of ANYTHING or they are looking to fire you, they can request a report for the time of your presence that will let them know you came into one door and walked out the one next to it and spent 30 seconds on site. If you have no exit badge out feature, then the only way to check would be to review the video from every day you presented your badge, and there is no way they have that kind of manpower to dedicate to such a pi-s-ant and petty task.
