Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

CS in Davos , are you actually kidding me

So - the dumpster fire that is Intel continues ; employees are genuinely without any direction or confidence , cruising through the day to day waiting for tops down direction …

Meantime - Christoph ‘how have I not been fired’ schnell is in Davos pretending he’s important …. Spending a small fortune that the company can’t afford instead of getting his house in order - that trip alone could probably have funded much needed FAEs …

Absolute tone deaf joke - everyone is laughing …. If the co-ceos didn’t want to go, he certainly shouldn’t be there ! Beggars belief. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Intel needs to layoff or attrit another 20% (at least).

Walking those who are in violation of company policy saves the jobs of those who are focused on the work to be done.

Who knows, maybe the Board will be replaced and Intel can go on to be something productive again.

Elitist as WEF is, even they strive for a diverse sample set across the attendee list. In this case, Intel played the roll of the Red Headed Stepchild. It’s my understanding Intel Representation were low keyed. Enjoyed the food and beverage. Had their Admins update their LinkedIn profile announcing their attendance, implying they’re a mover and shaker whereas in reality, had they been provided the opportunity, a presentation re “Intel- a cautionary tale of how WEF’s global ji--d destroyed a once great American company” may have been apropos

My guess is there’s a 90 percent chance BTO Guy is a Troll and could give 2 sh--s about Intel IT inspection. Now you, on the other hand. Is this your attempt to earn favor? Tell us “no”. That would be weak

@bg+1jjajwbkx Anyone spending (a meaningful amount of) company time trolling on this website should be terminated.

I'm looking at you, BTO guy, and so is IT Information Security.

That's not bullying, it is performance management.

Shut up, stay in your lane and do the thing you were hired to do.

The company has clearly defined policies about what constitutes abused on company resources, and they terminate people on a nearly daily basis for violations of that policy.

@cq+1jjajwbkx Because they themselves are useless cattle that have failed upwards to the point of being a “public person” and have implicitly consented to being pilloried in this glorious digital town square?

Perchance?

Genuine question: what’s wrong with an exec telling the useless cattle at intel to stay in their lane?

I feel Intel needs to die because of the posters such as @ac+1jjajwbkx and one below him or her. It is a highly toxic place. This type of bullying happens all the time at Intel. These bullies are like bodyguards of the incompetent, corrupt management layers at Intel. A new VP+ doesn’t even need to be concerned. As soon as they are hired, the company will equip them with TAs, finance, HR and other support people who immediately form a nasty defense around them by bullying internal employees who question anything, only a-s kissers are allowed. How did you think Murthy, Raja, Amir, Saf, Aicha etc stayed long and thrived without accomplishing anything.

Internally, these people bully fellow employees who try to do the right things or report bad behaviors. Now they are even trying to bully employees outside Intel with things like IT is going to scan this site. Hah hah… my God. Intel’s IT!!! I wish they used their time and resources to provide even OK IT service at Intel. One of the worst IT I have ever seen in my Silicon Valley career, at a high tech company that supposedly deliver leading edge tech to other companies. What a huge Joke.

"If your company is watching your every move, do nothing using company IT resources."
Bingo.
Also maybe the 'company' should be concerned about how displeased its employees are AND FIX IT.
Apparently we have broadened the definitions of snitch and rat.
Sadly it may be the only way these folks can be successful.
It sure won't be coming up with something new in physics.

Waste of money. Intel is no longer a thought leader and nobody in Davos wants to speak to Intel people.

Pretty amazing that an **tel employee would report this site to IT to make sure people were not accessing it during working hours. Then come to the same site to report such behavior.

You should share your personal whitelist of legal "during office hours" surfing sites.

If your company is watching your every move, do nothing using company IT resources.

Since most of us are Trolls, we could really give 2 sh--s, Narc. But if I were an employee, doing 4 hours of work from home, yes, I'd be concerned about inspection :)

@a1+1jjajwbkx You can tell how little (most of) the posters here actually understand about Intel as a business.

I sent a link to this site to IT in case they were not already scanning it for employees who are wasting company resources surfing the web all day.

IT and HR have a team whose job it is to find those people and they seem to enjoy getting people terminated.

Then they can go to some other website to look for their next job.

Life goes on.

This message board is hilarious. Literally no other event on the planet exposes a company to so many powerful business decision makers in a consolidated area.

Probably would be more embarrassing if your head of sales didn’t look to capitalize on that opportunity to give you nimrod’s something to sell your cr-ppy products to.

But yeah, cute comment.
