Fred told me that GH will be brought in to do some reversion therapy and a deep dive into synergies that can be captured by collaborating with Quill. Stay tuned.
@m5 the merge makes sense and they were overcompensated however the facts are the facts- look at which ones were on chopping block. Age and money is the trend that continues.
I’m not sure why everyone is so surprised. This was inevitable since JF “retired”. The associates at HT were highly overpaid. Books of business were one third of what Staples sellers have, but yet paid more. The model made no sense, but the merge does.
@bf no the real question is how long will staples keep the ones left around. Am told only 3 who already moved a staples sales team . The rest will be phased out by the time of November cuts
Just talked to the 5 people who went to Boston and met MR, none wrote this. Sounds like one of the usual suspects from high touch wrote this. cD of maitland. And all liked MR, CD is worried about MR firing him again . Is on phase 3. Also all of high touch love Fred
Comes down to age and compensation. Run the numbers on both. Lawsuit
Fred was the only person in that org worth his salary. Don’t be a hater because you got let go and he was kept. He busted his a-s and you didn’t.
They kept Fred from Tech. I had a similar sales/run rate. Dudes nothing special. Just met MR in Boston 2 months ago, and now laid off.
@bf indeed THAT is the question.
The real question is who is still left
