I was recently fired after they used me to get through year end. They claim I had low performance but I guess it was good enough to keep me thru the busy season... The surveys and my positive client feedback meant nothing. The department is constantly losing clients because of service issues. I took my time to make sure things were processed correctly because there were so many times I had to correct mistakes made by others! I always did my best to help and have been told by the clients I’m one of the few reps that actually was helpful. I was there for almost 4 years and it has been such a draining time in my career.

OP, sorry that you were let go. ADP used to be family, back when quality mattered. Now, metrics matter, and quality be damned. You mentioned that you took time to get things right. Unfortunately, that isn't wanted, or understood, anymore. As others have posted, you will end up being better off. Good luck to you.
The ADP Model was if someone is in the same position for 3 years are more regardless of ones performance it was not kindly looked upon and was a career limiting move (CLM)
OP here. This was in Arizona. I am not sure if others were termed but I was far from the worst employee on their reports. They said they were hiring 50 new people so I knew my days were numbered.
Thank you for the well wishes. I actually feel relieved and happy to move on.
Op. do you mind telling us what office you were let go of and if others were termed also?
Thanks and best of luck to you.
My ignorance? This associate was there for 4 years. No pension, they’re not giving out good raises so they were nearly entry level compensation. I’m sure they were screening for younger folks four years ago. They want the BIG dollar worker bees. Something else must be into this.
Sorry you were let go... not a good time to be looking for a job but hopefully other posters are right in that there is much less stress beyond ADP. Good luck in your search. Your diligence to get things right will be appreciated but a better company.
@bew+1agjsh3F - Your ignorance is showing. Why do you think ADP has been doing full swing layoffs for 4 years? Why do you think they are hiring inexperienced low cost people now? Do you really think you are "valued" employee? Are you a U.S. citizen? Do you think you are paid adequately for your skills? Well, let me tell you, if you are there now, you are highly disillusioned whatever you believe. What I do know is that ADP does NOT value any employee at all! They have proven that time and time again getting rid of the best employees they had in favor of cheap/low cost/inexperience and often times foreign labor. And they say they are a equal opportunity employer (unless you are a white male).
I know I wasn’t valuable. These types of companies don’t value their employees. 4 years is a long time in the department I was in.
Only there for 4 years? Not their targeted group typically. Maybe you weren’t as valuable as you think?
