Thread regarding Omnissa layoffs

Possibly more layoffs in February.

The comrades in management have slated the launch of their yellow ai for February so it is likely they will can more people then. I expect more centres to close as all disposable income seems to be pumped into this thing.

@119

Holy moly, never knew the man in omnissa could monitor my personal laptop. He must be CIA or something putting secret spyware on my personal devices. That man from omnissa is some one to behold.

@zz "I looked up anonymous in the gal and couldn’t find you 😝"

Think about it smarty pants, that little icon on the bottom of your screen which monitors all the traffic on your laptop will tell them who visited what site at exactly what time... rest assured that all posts here are being monitored by the man at Omnissa.

Well its not as if the Indians have anything better to do, they do nothing other than freeload and fake it till they make it. Have to protect their image by scouring this place with alerts turned on.

@e8 Well someone is paying attention to this thread because that job post is updated and the VMware part removed.

@m8 more likely to be communicated in feb, first or second week. The reason is less about what is good for the books and more to minimize distraction so people concentrate on finishing out the year.

Expect nothing other then layoffs... It is inevitable! The employees are being terminated menially already. You are constantly kept in a state of fear and uncertainty and expected to thrive and succeed. This is like being setup for a failure and not winning a single fight. This fundamentally affects your state of being.

What's better for the books: layoffs before the end of the quarter/fiscal year (Jan) or beginning of a new quarter/fiscal year (Feb)?

@e8

I applied for one for a laugh and it errored out. I think its intentional tbh. After 4 attempts I d8d get a confirmation email but heard nothing. Completely fake like everything else in the company. There are no tse jobs advertised either because yellow ai will teke their jobs eventually is the plan. This will obviously fail because ai is not ai. If it was it would not require llms or anything else. Its programmed automation at best using existing info and is dependent on that info to function. As we know the info and knowledge in omnissa is garbage and that's what their ai is based on. They continue to hemerage customers and staff so their is a point where it might work if customer numbers get low enough because sadly there are a lot of su-kers for punishment customers there who are sadly stupid.

I think most of us are just trying to get to the end of the year in one piece. There will definitely be ongoing layoffs by the end of fiscal but that's a problem to worry about in 2026.

@cn About the job ads on the web site, seems nobody is checking these before posting. This one refers to VMware standards.
“These designs and code must meet VMware and industry quality standards.”

I predict the next layoff wave will be in January. What will be left is a highly layered org structure where directors and managers only have a couple of direct reports that perform the actual work. Meanwhile, our exec leadership team will continue to tell KKR that all is well, regardless of the ongoing loss of large enterprise customers. It's a layoff fiasco.

soon the be replaced by HCL contractors and then KKR will eventually sell us to some company in India.

That is what omnissa have been doing for the last year to replace the staff which is why they are not replacing most positions. Most of the job ads on their website are fake.

"possible layoffs"? Have you seen the industry right now? Your post adds nothing that people didn't already know.
