Does anyone know salary ranges at level 5 and 6 at Broadcom San Jose
Moldyframe will cut in June like 2 years ago. More quitting by then fck this place!
every month it seems more people are leaving Moldyframe. people are tired of the b.s. and "special" relationships. from what i'm hearing expect more 3's this year. and possible surgical micro incisions in some groups. you heard it here...
Corvette Boy is worried about attrition and yells at managers to HIRE. No one wants to come here without remote. The market is better for salary and equity so can't brag about RSUs if you do your research. The offices are crowded and disgusting. Facilities sends emails about dirty bathrooms embarrassing to see. Stay away unless desperate!
Corvette Boy is making ranking even more difficult on the managers. Now we need more R1/fewer R3 women because diversity! Then we can pay Dr. Chance another million for more seminars about our feelings!
@debt+1gddFT9j But we did hear something. Corvette Boy said that raises were not a sure thing. That means that nothing or next to nothing is probably coming. Who cares about record profits. Got to keep those margins at all time highs. I do wonder if attrition is starting to worry them. The peasants are starting to revolt and look for work elsewhere. I doubt it will matter. If anything, Corvette Boy will increase the quota of 3s to 50% to punish all of the malcontents.
@debt+1gddFT9j expecting anything from MSD....? Someone's gotta pay for all the execs new toys....lmfao...
We heard nothing from mainframe yet. How many billions generated from a skeleton crew?
News to me! I didn’t get sht in BSG. No big blue connections
@bdaj+1gddFT9j It was a band-aid for those that were below 25% of the band range. In other words, those who got the raise were the ones being the most screwed over. Aside from excluding 3s from eligibility, performance was not a factor in the process.
The only reason that the funds were available in the first place is that salary spend has been running well below plan due to attrition. Kinda sad this is what it takes for management to let some crumbs fall from their wallet.
Looks like few people got off cycle salary increase this week. Any ideas about the criteria and numbers?
Can i have whatever you're smoking...?
Friends in nvidia got 7% average salary increase, Qualcomm 8% avarage salary increase(2 times in 4 months). Amd 5% or above.
That would be triple my only Broadcom raise. Come to think about it, it wasn't even 1%. More like 0.8%. The worst raise I literally had in my 30+ year career. An I was rated a "strong 2". The bonus and stock are nice, but base means something, especially to older employees. It impacts your life insurances and other factors. People are leaving faster than they can hire, so I hope Hock has a plan to conjure up some new workers who will deal with his ridiculous BS.
I know people from Broadcom that were "working from home" and running their own personal business at the same time. That's why Hock wants people back at the office.
WFH is the #1 item and many would do hybrid. All tech jobs can be done remote, but we have the Asian CEO who wants to rule by fear.
People want work from home flexibility more than anything else.
