Was just told by someone in that department that on Friday 1/23 they are laying off 17% of the team.

One teammate RIFed so far, OBH tech earlier this AM. Might be more happening but haven't heard any others directly yet. Since rumor is that this'll be a substantial impact, does anyone know if notifications will continue this afternoon? Or if we make it through lunch are we more likely in the clear for this round?

@OP There are tech products that scan audio from patient encounters to identify depression and boost raf scores during an md appt - no need for behavioral health screening any more. those jobs are gone.

What does “Behavioral Health” mean in this comment/instance? It’s spread among many departments dependent on functional area, etc. And what is BH APPs?

It is always on thursday so 1/22 instead of 1/23 sounds more reasonable
