@g4 Absolutely. I would recommend that everyone update their resumes and prepare for the worst. Whether that be to proactively begin a new job search, save in case of being selected for the next round of layoffs, etc. SNHU is no longer a secure company with which to build your career. Announcing the first round of layoffs last year and bonuses the following week was a way to soften the blow and give remaining staff a false sense of confidence. Expect the same moving forward. You are not a person at SNHU anymore, you are a financial liability.

They were predominantly senior leaders. Does their departure undermine our confidence in SNHU’s ability to continue growing? Does this impact our ability to/faith in growing at SNHU?

@bd probably just short of the $1B mark and letting go of 60 right before the end of the FY gets them there.

@bd the communication email says “regularly” assess. That’s a keyword. Regularly means frequently or often.

I wish Paul (or someone with similar values) would come back to lead SNHU back in the right direction.

@bd because it’s crystal clear Lisa’s mission is to operate the university like a business where dollars mean more than the people who made the university what it is. This would have never happened under Paul’s leadership.

Can we expect layoffs every 9 months moving forward? I mean, they just announced the 6% financial goal was met. Why are we doing this

As soon as they changed leadership, we all knew that they were no longer putting people first. These continued layoffs will cripple the university and their reputation, there’s no doubt about it.

So sad for these people. We knew that was just the beginning back in September. They're going to outsource everything they can.
