Wow, our benefits are really terrible! My premium for "low premium" plan went up over $1500 for the year. My merit increase will not come close to that I'm sure.
UP $50.00 a paycheck. So now I pay almost $700 a month for the LOW deductible plan with a deductible of $3,600 and then a coinsurance of $7,200.
I wonder do they know...we try to NOT use our insurance. Ever. I would love to meet the employees who are driving up costs. Everyone I know tries NOT to use their insurance!
@a5 you don't get 10% annual raises lol
@ae yep They want to turn into a full HMO , employ all doctors to control them so they can't practice but rather " align" with the business 1st , get rid of all sick people .
I actually ended up switching to the high deductible option because of the price hikes
Mine went up $7 a paycheck. kept exactly the same benefits i had for 2025 and i only cover myself.
I only insure myself with the high deductible option. Im sure it went up a bit. Feel for anyone insuring their family with the garbage they give employees. You getting sc--wed for sure.
@bb was a joke… raises which I’m sure if we get one this year will likely be in the 1-2% range like typical. Though I’m not holding my breath. It’s rough but will likely be the same story as always. “Tough year, yada yada… RRP and merit only funded at X but we still managed to eek out that record profit.”
Worst is the emails we got saying they are picking up most of the cost of the increases. Knowing full well nobody around here (including those that get 5’s) has received any sort of raise in line with cost increases over the past several years.
@a5 10% is about 5 times my usual raise increase so I’d really like to know what dept is getting 10%, lol.
Coverage for only myself under one of the HMO plans went up 64 cents per month. The Basic B-tch Dental went up 54 cents per month. Vision insurance cost stayed the same. There goes my raise and RRP bonus.
We shouldn't be forced to use company store health insurance.
Kaiser, Cigna, Blue Cross...any except UHG.
10%. Only covering myself.
no PPO option, 10% hike, higher copay. aren't we a health insurance company?
@ab we pay more than anywhere else. The front office staff at clinics, hospitals, etc… eyes open wide when they see how much we have to pay for copays or tests. They always comment saying they thought theirs was bad. We’re always like nope, we have the worst and we work for the insurance company…. Go figure.
$130 a month.
I worked at an Ice Cream Factory when I was young. They gave us free gallons of Ice Cream. Worked in a Brewery when in college, gave us 3 free cases a month. Why is Healthcare not free here??
b/c of the $15non tobacco user they give us. im actually paying the same as this year. Theo only benefit i took out was my vision but i upped my FLEX spending for the year. i was def expecting the benefits to sky rocket.
Looks to be roughly 10% on medical. Right in line with our annual raises I’m sure.
Plus, it looks like they raised some of the copays like ER, etc… though it’s not easy to figure out as it says “up to x” so then you have to go dig in the various plans websites to find details.
240 a month. I have family coverage others who just insure themselves only went up a few dollars
