Not concerned if it drops into the 30's. When a stock stalls after asset sales (Ocy Chem) and employee right sizing, the corporate corpse is bloated and rotten. Just a matter of time... Lived it unfortunately.

@aq Your attempts at sarcasm are getting pretty boring and predictable. I have a feeling that you’re going to throw in “operator of choice” here pretty soon. How about trying a different type of humor? I know sarcasm is easy, but stretch yourself. Put in a little effort.
The stock price has been fairly stable since the middle of October. What makes you think it’s going to dip to the mid $30s? In other words, what do you know that the market doesn’t?

Get serious. A July 18, 2017 article in Forbes article ends with this quote from Vicki:
"Just as the Permian Basin will be the last basin standing, so Occidental will be the last company standing."
That says it all.
Down 31% over the last 3 years. The market has no faith in this stock. Change in leadership, asset focus and debt reduction are all in the cards next year. Weak companies eventually go the way of the dodo... Is Oxy a dodo?
