Thread regarding Optum layoffs

To clearly define “coffee badging” Amazon has the most stringent policy. It’s a minimum of 2 hours of being in the office. And generally speaking, true coffee badging is considered only spending 30 minutes to 1 hour in the office after badging in.

Coffee badging is weak- I bourbon badge!

Bourbon badging is driving to the office, then downing a fifth of bourbon before smashing the bottle and passing out in the parking ramp. Then you stumble into the lobby, swipe your badge, vomit on the security guard, and then stumble back out of the building.

I’m on my third promotion since I started doing this, and normally get a standing ovation as I stumble from the building.

I mean seriously using IT resources to monitor, create, maintain, distribute, etc these type or reports takes them away from their primary duties and just makes UHG/ Optum a target because they outside world knows IT is engaged elsewhere. Talk about mo--nic

Sitting in an MN blizzard to get to office and sit on Teams? Yeah, sure. I will start my commute at the same time and when it’s 9 and I am still 10 miles away going 4 mph they can deal with the sound of my car in the call.
