Let's see if the President actually does something about it.
Trump = what a joke!!! Telling companies who they shouldn’t hire? WTF is wrong with this guy????
Good news for America.
@f1 haha, yes, what a joke these are.
@b3 ChatGPT responses are so easy to spot now after you read enough of them.
'I took history in high school and actually paid attention.'
Lol. sure, boomer.
I like to juxtaposition FDR and Coolidge with the current administration as well.
eyeroll
@dr You truly are special aren't you. It's all a game, the mans playing chess.
I would love jobs to come back to the US but you would need some sort of change in the standard of living here. Trump's attempt to bring back jobs to the US will take a while. Can he convince the US population especially if it isn't perceived to be working for the US population by the midterms?
Then again, manufacturing plants that come back will have a level of automation. This will not be like the early 20th century.
@b3 He's a used car salesman. He already reduced tariffs for tech products. I don't worry because TACO - TRUMP ALWAYS CHICKENS OUT
@ba Lol I am hardly a boomer bruh. I took history in high school and actually paid attention. I also have issues with hypocrisy because everyone should.
Jimmy carter? Daayam, cool it down, boomer.
I would love to see/hear Trump’s reaction if the government were to tell him how to run his businesses, making demands to how he must run his private corporations…
It’s pathetic.
I just keep thinking about how Jimmy Carter had to sell his peanut farm but the grifter Trump just keeps fleecing & covering up all the things, all while pointing fingers and making ridiculous demands of everyone else.
The U.S. government retains the ability to restrict the repatriation of profits generated through outsourcing, a measure implemented during President Trump’s first term as part of a broader strategy to incentivize domestic job creation. Given that the original framework was subsequently weakened, there is a strong likelihood that a future policy would pursue renewed controls on capital flows of this nature to reinforce America-first economic priorities. Yes, he can! And when he does, the IT giants will throw their usual tantrum, crying crocodile tears over the loss of cheap offshore labor while pretending it's about innovation or fairness. F... them.
Intel said it is also cutting its headcount by 15% and expects to have approximately 75,000 employees by the end of the year.
Please stop.
@a9 Literally different legal entities. Actually, Dell has two legal entities in India - Dell India Private Limited and and Dell International Services India Private Limited.
And what are you suggesting, can Donald Fu--ing Trump force Dell to have no sales people in India, everyone has to be in the U.S.? Does Dell need to have support for all countries be located in the U.S.? Calls from one country can't be routed to a support center in another country?
It is all pretty opaque to the outside world. Your precious id--t thinks he can control everything but he can't. And you should be happy for that.
@a8 WRONG
Trump is an id--t and has no ability to impact global companies hiring on a global basis.
They won’t hire in India. THey’ll set up a sham contracting firm and hire them out. Apologies to my Indian colleagues.
With the huge salaries in US, why would they do this
MD should be onboard with this right?
he did post a couple months ago "go america" on his X
or was that just for show?
