OP please stop using the words severance and package in the same sentence.

It's creeping me out.

Depending on the definition of 'time', the good info on the severance package is that it will happen in 'time', but that is not important right now.

The good info on the severance package is that it will be in an email and contain words, but that's not important right now.

The good info on the severance packages is that there will be no severance packages.

That's good because then you don't have to pay 35% taxes.

I hear it’s absolutely nothing for most and bare bones for a few

1 piece of fruit
1 fuzzy holiday sweater
2 collectible Intel bunny suit figurines.

You heard it here first:

  • if it is based on poor performance reviews - $0.00, health benefits will cease at the end of the month you are fired, no unemployment
  • if you are involuntarily released, aka ISP - 9 weeks pay (63 days), 2-3 months of health benefits based on the day you are fired, unemployment eligible

Considering both the CEO and the CPO have changed, the severance package itself is subjected to change as well.. Likely not as generous as last year..
As they say..
Ya should'a taken da package ..

The package won't come with any lube this time.

OP doesn't work at Intel. If they did, they would know that any potential package is (and will be for the foreseeable future) under review in endless meetings with tons of poorly done spreadsheets and slides.

Same as last year

I don't believe OP realizes that those who are terminated do not get severance packages.

Like the coming raises, the severance package will be paid with a safety buck and a car wash token.

I heard the packages will be like totally, like oh my god, gag me with a spoon.

I'm sure.

It is hard to say, as time is relative.

The severance package will be a document with words on it, but that's not important right now.
