Yeah lots of jobs are going to carelon global solutions in Philippines. there’s another post that case management is being transferred over there. What a shamed our members have to deal with people in the Philippines. I can only imagine how many complaints and grievances they might file.

Yes there are more Riffs coming but they'll be decided on in Oct. Not happening in Oct. Necessarily. In the Carelon space.

cat.sandoval@wishtv.com look up this case: Jamillah Reynolds vs. Elevance Health where an exceeds expectations disabled Elevance Health associate was RIFd due to whistleblowing, discrimination, harassment and retaliation. Seyfarth Shaw (Misty Martin) represents Elevance Health.

sad part is I expect these layoffs to keep rolling into Q225 - at least. only thing they care about is keeping the EPS at a 12-15% growth. very single day it is a new layoff and additional reductions. I have been here well over a decade so there will be no shock if it happens...

Scorecard of a 5.08/5.00 due to high productivity and been with the company for 3+ years. I should have known when my manager gave me "partially meets expectations" with a 4.85/5.00 scorecard.....

“Change” means do more with less, teach AI what you do so you can be laid-off and expect more layoffs.

I'm Thomas Gnau at the Dayton Daily News in Ohio. I have reached out to the company, but no one had gotten back to me. If anyone affected by impending layoffs wants to speak with me, I can be reached at tom.gnau@coxinc.com. Thank you.

No more free lunches 😂😂😂

Not that it's any big deal but this organization is an absolute joke in the overall way they treat everyone who works there.

"They are pushing getting ID’s now. Next step who knows? A meeting with management stated that none of us knows what the future holds. I asked what it means? I was told that we need to make sure that we are showing our value. Wtf"

What kind of ID's are they pushing we get?

No transparency. Tossed aside like ragdolls. Changes in Marketing are ridiculous, inefficient, and a colossal waste of time. If we wanted to work for an ad agency, we'd work in one. None of you "leaders" know WTF you're doing.

Ooohhhhhhh, my gosh. The “CHANGE” team. Has anyone encountered this band of id--ts!? Led by a smirking 12-year old with a fifth grade education. Great job, Elevance!

Puerto Rico does not pay federal income taxes, but they do pay the same federal medicare and social security as in the U.S.

@ejnjs+1fGCV4et - Puerto Rico pays US taxes and SSN, so its not the same as offshoring.

Elevance Health acquired mynexus company offers post acute solutions 2 years back and it was brought under Carelon year ago. The whole team of 28 members are gone. Very sad to see this much mass layoff.

In the recent town hall, Mr. RAT announced there will be $1 Billion dollar in savings in 2025 using AI and I think he might have promised the board the same. But it is happening the other way by eliminating the position and show the savings to the board it was achieved by AI. Damn....

No one can make a decision at this place unless it comes to “reorganization.” Fear and poor leadership led to what is happening at Elevance Health. The company is in a nosedive until they change the CEO. More layoffs coming soon.

It's not just India and Philippines. BH has been hiring steadily in Puerto Rico for the last 6 to 8 months and telling those of us who knew not to say anything.

well...it's not just you. i got laid off today as well along with a ton of other people. They are having mass layoff's and claiming it's not performance related. we are just a number to them. they do not care about ANYONE at this job. CarelonRx is a MESS. none of their systems work. People are going months without their meds. It's only a matter of time before they go under

Both … the idea of fully automative human worker has executives giddy. It’s the golden goose … cheap, productive and no people leadership required. They are slowly realizing that the AI hype is not going to allow them the do away with humans, so it will be used to fast track the offshoring strategy. AI will absorb the knowledge of higher payed American domain experts allowing more offshoring to happen.

Also was laid of on 8/7. Anyone have any idea for the next target layoff day may be? Complete sh-tshow of a company but I will make sure they pay me every penny until the day I am gone. Was it Ai or because they want to move everything over to the Philippines? Located in Las Vegas.

Bunch of circus clowns making decisions that make no sense. All these “leaders” that make decisions to lay off highly experienced and well connected associates who have established working relationships with so much knowledge THINK they are making the best decisions but all they are causing is unnecessary stress for the people the work will be dumped on and those people will have no clue what to do. Those who were RIF’d should look at it at “out with the old…” consider it a relief from HELLavance! Enjoy your FREEDOM from the disgrace of a company that treats their employees like trash.

And more jobs to go to the Philippines ! Smh

https://www.sunstar.com.ph/amp/story/iloilo/carelon-global-solutions-expands-operations-targets-iloilo-as-hims-hub

With a current workforce of over 9,000 employees across four facilities in the country, two in Manila and two in Iloilo, Carelon aims to increase its total headcount to 10,000 by the end of the year

Medicare work moved to Carelon & previous posts indicate several were let go from Medicare this week. I believe the same is about to happen with GBD CAID. Carelon already took over reviews for therapy, some DME and Outpatient procedures for a few states. This was the majority of Outpatient work, like 90%. Soon there will be no need for GBD Intake & Outpatient nurse reviewers. I am thinking this will happen by the end of 2024 if not sooner. My guess is Inpatient and GBD areas that have member contact are safe for a few years, at least until contract renewal time.

My entire team got laid off 8/8 effective September 6th. It was 17 of us! Managers, team leads, consultants, etc. It's ridiculous! They had a major meeting a few months ago stating we had to return to the office. Then they let go of many ppl.

RIF yesterday. As did at least 4 others from the team I work with. These staffers have had significant experience working there and will take with them so much knowledge about how things work. Puzzled too as EH just hired a couple of Directors recently and there is a backstabbing person who got approval to hire a new person. They just started a couple of weeks ago, but that manager had a colleague of mine train her. They let her go a couple of days ago. Just horrible!!

HELLevance IS NO LONGER AN AMERICAN COMPANY! I was laid off this week. They are targeting employees that have been working for the company for 10+ years. They call this damaging "business decision" as "force in reduction" then they turn around and offer the positions to individuals with no experience and lower salaries and even extend the job openings to offshore folks such as the Philippines and India. What a intelligent approach (being sarcastic ) to make the American economy better! And forcing 40-60 year old highly experienced, knowledgeable , high performing and hard working associates who have been there for so long devastated by laying them off by reading a script. No kind oh humility, empathy or dignity. The motto of the company is "togetherness" but the egotistical leaders the make the decisions only no inharmoniousness & dividedness! And broad shouldered buy Gail has the nerve to say we have great profits…yeah great earning profits for her and her gns’

Our C suite "leaders" peruse this site and probably have a good chuckle as they care nothing about anyone in this organization.

Unfortunate that everyone didn't just up and resign one day. Would be entertaining to see them in that scenario.
