The guidelines are ridiculous. The new restrictions are making MM a less than desirable company and there is no longer work/life balance. So much for being a great company for working moms. If people just came in three days a weeks, none of these new restrictions would have surfaced!

What are the new rules? I used to work at mm last summer. Super curious what changed — it was so laid back ..
Yes by all means,
you better come in to work
to sit down
and hop on all the zoom meetings
you'll spend 89% of your time being on
since about half (and will be more) of the company is outsourced to other countries.
What a great use of your time, money, skills, and collaboration.
Are we great yet?
Did this make MM great again?
Does this help bring in profits to a 35+ billion dollar/yr company?
Does this bring up company morale
to sit in empty offices
that are reminders
of all the continued layoffs?
To be in the comment section of an obscure website fighting for your life because you're obsessed with working in the office is not the flex you think it is.
When you are laid off, yes...when, no one cares how many days you came in or not.

Assumption? No, numerous studies prove it. What do YOU translate “better work/life balance” as??? Ummm….less work, no?
Here’s one study, learn how to use Google for 100 more.

@dz sad assumption that in-office = higher work ethics is sad
Or move it all outside the country, give the snowflakes a binky and close the offices for good. Grow up and do your jobs. The work ethic in this country has gone out the window.

Any insights as to what the real consequences are if the new rules aren't followed to a T ? I feel like I missed something.
"So much for being a great company for working moms."
This is a weird thing to bring up about the new rules. Why would they get anything different just because they're working moms? They're not the only ones impacted
That’s the point
If mm thinks the office space seems to empty stop hiring outside the country.
