Zscaler su-ks. It broke my access to our global devices last fall so I screamed until the team rolled it back.
Fortunately is hasn't been reinstalled... thus far.
It blocks the link to order food from the cafeteria so we can pick it up and go back to our desks to work.
I can tell you one thing it’s not doing, it’s not counting key strokes for mouse jigglers like me. If it did, I would’ve been let go 15 years ago. 🤣🤣🤣
Its a common security best practice to NOT relate any software, hardware or any infrastructure information that may be in use on the network. This is whether you are Citi or otherwise. This being even more so the more regulated you are.
You don’t want any safe cr--ker to know anything about your safe. You don’t even want them to know the make and model of your safe. Not how thick the door is, what type of metal, how heavy, the location of it, is it bolted to the floor or not and if it is, what type of floor, concrete floor or wood or plastic or cottage cheese etc…. the less they know the better.
I’m sure this will be followed by the spam responses but just saying.

@b9+1jsey31t4 is correct. This program basically acts as a firewall. We do a lot of development stuff for Zscaler, it blocks incoming and outgoing connections to your machine.
I've been told its a internet security program (firewall)
Makes it easier to detect if you are using a mouse jiggler
I think it tracks active time in the different programs like teams, outlook etc.
