@281 I would say depending on at what level and age one joins but majority will be tagged as outsiders and 95% won't even stick around. Who would want to work with a bunch of useless PMs who rely solely on vendors and then wait for their turn to rotate out into another team.

@281 unfortunately outsiders will always be treated as a step child. You can be the smartest in your team but a below avg life long PGer will always get the promotion and job security.

Yes. Already started and it will happen in batches so WARN notices aren't triggered.
Starting with forcing folks to take early retirement, then pushing out experienced hires (we don't consider them as pure PGers.)
Then junior folks.

In the end we will left with regular a$$ kissing useless folks or bunch of project managers.

We will lose our top talent.

Stay under the radar and just agree to everything, keep saying stuff like good work, congratulations etc.
