Put an end to H1 hiring and stop the backdoor entrees. Probe companies TCS, Infosys, Wipro , IRIS . H1/H4 hiring is not about specialty. H1/H4 hiring is about comfort that management wants to keep yes men and overrule . CITI IRVING TX - Stop the abuse.
Why do these companies need H1/H4 when they have hired the same people in their captive centers.

@b8 If anything, Citi HR is an enabler of these MD's that promote nepotism and bootlicking even if the bootlickers have no background or knowledge of the work they are supposed to be leading. Sara's entire HR org is just pathetic and should be a B school case study on how not to run an HR dept
Citi HR lacks authority to validate or question why a visa needs to be sponsored.
Shadman Zafar and Michael Naggar staged a campus interview to hire 1 college grad. The college grad was interviewed personally by both of them and this was the only college grad who was the only person that was hired from the entire campus interview.
The college grad happened to be from the same country as Shadman Zafar i.e Pakistan and its the same college Shadman Zafar claimed to have studied from. Post "the personal interview", the college grad was sponsored a visa and brought into Citi and placed under a long term Citi employee. The long term Citi employee complained about this college grad not being efficient. The long term employee was put on PIP :-). The college grad was subsequently promoted as well.
Even though this would be a violation of law that visas should be sponsored only for talent which dont exist in US, an artificially created entry level job not from a reputed school in US, does not need to be hired, but was hired. Mostly that grad would have also got Green card by now.
During an HR investigation, this was identified. The whole issue was covered up by Anand Selva ignoring any action on Shadman Zafar and Michael Naggar and the entire bunch of cronies they have brought in.
Citi HR is just a puppet, who has no authority to either enforce or do the right thing. Pathetic state of affairs.
