Ford needs to cut 15% of the workforce in order to be profitable.
More cuts to come, look around folks... This is unsustainable.
I'm my experience, salary isn't the problem. It's gettingy to match the benefit costs and 401k matching. Not to mention the number of holidays.
@b8+1jvbnqak8 this is in poor taste as it is manipulated self fulfilling. A waiver that blackballs you from automotive that is also an explosive offer not to mention nobody wants to hire ex ford employees because ford is known to have people that are unable to change perspectives… typically hard-headed due to how they interact with others in the SE MI region. Ford is definitely cheap and a regret for many. The grass is indeed greener outside if you didn’t go to ford in the first place.
Let's be real though. Money is compensation, but so are other things. Nothing is as binary as "do they pay well?" Are they a$$h0les? Micro-managers? No? Well I might trade that for 30k per year to not have to deal with it and just scale down my life..
Everyone slags on Ford and their compensation until they really have to look elsewhere. Grass ain’t always greener
Good luck. Most jobs pay half the salary with twice the work. Many places are boycotting Ford cast-offs
@OP. I just finished applying to a job. It pays similarly to Ford, just less benefits. Normally, I would not applied to it. But waiting for the next cut is not a nice thought, so here I am, looking.
I’m in the cut like neosporin
