@f3 Missed this one, it’s familiar. You seem very smart, but you also seem like the type that might lack perspective at times. :)

I seriously haven’t heard much from him. I heard more from his press run in the start of may more than within model e. This is going to sound like a fib, but for about two years I didn’t hear his name once since I started. Nobody talked about him on our team

Mar 10, 2022 — “I don't care if they come to work in bunny slippers, we got to have the best people,” Doug Field told reporters last week.

Wow. Meta-jokes. Feels like an Easter hunt.. a week in advance.

It’s like solving a case. Spring turns to summer.. let’s see… it was cold in December…

Rather than confronting Ford’s “entrenched bureaucracy” that you claimed in your recent MIT press-run, your leadership seems to amplify it. Are you part of the solution or the problem? Throwing us under the bus pretending to be our savior.

The integration between software and hardware under your supervision remains disjointed. Have you lost control being the wheel?

Why can’t you retain critical talent instead of driving them away such as what happened to Roz Ho? This isn’t a unit. You don’t protect your own players.

So to put it simple: ford is cheap with their talent and doesn’t define them fairly?

You can't put makeup on a pig and expect a horse. Ford leadership and their decisions to not protect and prioritize talent through action instead of press runs is evident and clear. Ford has failed to live in the present. How can they think of the future? Until you sweep your house from all the bad actors you will have more than Tesla to worry about. It starts with taking accountability and cleaning it up day by day. There are important things to start the process now. You are all too scared though. Ford as a company is doomed because of greed and control just like the other legacy manufacturers. They are like how toys r us failed to see the world changing around them and went bankrupt. You can pump billions into Model-E but that is simply just a waste of makeup. None of you are the fastest horse. You are all in the wrong race and should stick to what you were instead of not going all in on the right bets. What a shame you guys got excited to spotlight the startup industry, but want to hide all the problems under the rug first. I'm looking at the startup community too that endorsed this. They don't champion talent or nurture talent. It is all a photo-op here. Too scared to admit people that are cracked will embarrass the people around them because it hurts feelings because we didn't cultivate a merit-driven state here in michigan that should be looking at it like it's inspiration. We fostered a culture of ego where we give people participation trophies for a revolving door process. Waiting in line and doing things one way. That one dimensional thinking gets you nowhere in society today. We would rather pick people that don't outshine others and we would rather make people that are cracked weak so they fit in instead of setting a standard. We make them wait to be understood instead of protecting them from bias. We let people exploit and take advantage of all-star talent because the ones that can really change this state aren't in the position to protect them. Too much of a corrupt organization. We give opportunities to talent in Michigan to people we are friends with and not people that are cracked and overlooked. It is not a merit based game. We also abused DEI to defeat its purpose. To protect those that are different who bring something to the table. Those who deserve it. You guys are cowards and can't take accountability for mistakes and so this structure isn't conducive to change. Until further notice, I see this landscape as anti-intellectualism, starting from our education system and failure to adapt to new information. No sense of urgency. Without treating this as urgency, you aren't serious about any of what goes on. You guys don't even breed your own horses. How will you identify a fast horse. You can't. You let some other person take their shine because they are stuck in the revolving door.

  • Someone cracked who is able to discern the chaos that I have been exposed to here and is tired of y'all

He’s a disruptor. He’s disrupting. He’s just disrupting. Bla bla what high tech space. There’s nothing cool about ford because it’s old school. They want to keep up with the times but none of these leaders in ford carry true soul. They don’t represent authenticity. Authenticity is a minimum requirement in 2025. This is a critical fault because they can’t attract authenticity. That means in everything we do. Such as respect when deserved. They accept the talent, but they don’t treat the minds of today with mutual respect. The minds of yesterday think that we didn’t earn it. You have to accept you can’t move forward in the past unless it’s when you’re willing to put your ego aside. They don’t even carry on the brand. The CEO is not protective of authenticity like Henry Ford was. Think of who Henry Ford would want, a leader like him who will pay attention to his house. He should be protecting his best players. They can run plays others can’t. You guys are out your minds. The whole system from all levels here. The world emphasizing talent more and the mistreatment cannot be said more. Squandered talent. The game is merit-based, but isn’t actually rewarding the best—it’s rewarding time spent waiting in line. Horses who weren’t first make decisions in this company. It was faulty then and it is faulty now. How did you allow so much bad talent into your organization. You guys won’t clean up you ranks to make sure the best get what they need to succeed. Everyone look next to you and think about if you believe they deserve their position because some of you truly do and probably even deserve to be swapped with people currently in their positions. You gotta clean house. Look at your house. Every one of the big three will suffer a loss if they don’t play their best players or treat them with respect. I thought we were known for grit in Detroit. Why don’t you snap out of the coma and act like it. All that talk about attracting talent that is really about grit and nothing to show for it. The owners of this team have a corrupt organization, that’s why it doesn’t win. There are people that deserve better positions you are in and you know you wouldn’t make these moves and so you also know why they won’t win. You guys don’t respect the times, how do you expect the times to respect the past. You guys got no passion. No soul. No beast inside of you. No horse in this race at all. You’d rather get in our tracks and have us slow down than let us have you be a passenger. You guys don’t know what you have yet you use the word startup to fit with out crowd. None of you are cracked and have a real authentic story. No hustle. No real legacy to follow with you. You guys will never be able to win unless you put your pride aside and let someone else drive. All about fast cars but you tell fast people to slow down? You guys should just enjoy the show and relax. You guys disrespect us. I know you just want a reaction and I understand why this comment comes up. It’s funny to you and whoever is stopping authenticity. It’s because you guys lack it. Trying to make jokes because you never took yourself serious in your life. I get it. You were slow then and you are slow now. But if you don’t ever listen you will only be heard in the past. I mean this with my whole heart, you guys don’t nurture any of the bright minds of today without slowing them down and not taking them serious. Respect means in all forms. I’m sure this goes on in the other automotive car manufacturers too, but it’s the truth. You can’t fake a story. You can’t cheat when you back a horse because that horse in never going to win. You guys love to say you can problem solve, but you solve symptoms… you know why? Because there are some of you that recognize real. They show their respect. But they probably deserve respect themselves to make a difference. Ford does not have what it takes to thrive in these times . You can’t photoshop a story no matter how hard you try. You guys don’t treat us like all-star athletes. The ones that have authenticity. You give us the worst equipment to deal with and you don’t recognize talent. You make talent deal with nonsense that distracts us from the game. You don’t pay us like all-star athletes, even when we play for the home team. You don’t train us like all-star athletes. You won’t listen or let us show you the play on the field. You don’t protect us when we get hurt on the field. There’s no referee that makes sure one athlete isn’t cheating over the other. Why would you want a cheater? That’s not authentic. I thought this game was free to play. A merit based game. You guys have the worst line up. I’m talking haircut and the players on the field. You gotta let our generation play fairly in this league if you want a shot at winning this race. You guys don’t step aside if you can’t compete. You guys can compete, but you can’t cheat. Or you don’t win. You lose the authenticity. I know the OG Ford does not want this for y’all. I’m looking at the other two in Michigan too. You guys don’t put on for your state correctly. That’s why you let Tesla happen. You want this state to win this race. You back and nurture real talent and make sure they get their time on the field. Your companies are your lineup. This state needs to address merit by revisiting what talent means starting from the elementary level.. Be accountable for preventing the movie idiocracy from becoming a warning. Clean house and say sorry.

Next time I’ll bill for consultation. Style isn’t always free

Are you implying that Ford is relevant now?

DF is a disruptor. That is what BF needed in the company to lead Model e from start-up to success.

Ford needed to get into the high tech space with Silicon Valley talent to become relevant again.

Convince Billy that the future is an IPhone with wheels.

Does he even show up and speak at the Town Halls anymore? I haven't been to one in a while but I don't recall seeing him for some time.

Are they keeping them locked in the basement like they did with Biden?
