Cork seems to be thriving but Limerick & Dublin have lost their spark.
There is definitely an air of uncertainty .

It is soul destroying just waiting to lose our jobs.
Everyone I speak to is miserable.
I see a certain age group that are WFR'd
I heard rumours of Voluntary Severence in some offices. Ireland has been mentioned.
Nobody is immune.
It's just a waiting game especially for people who are near retirement.
Some of these people have 25 plus years done so I doubt they will leave without a Severence package and rightly so.
I do think August will be a huge reduction. Just my opinion.
I would consider volunteering if the package was enough until I could find a similar job.
I really would like to stay but I feel it is going to be a very toxic environment.
I believe people are suffering mentally.
@b7 you wish they would close sites ?
While I wish this was true it seems more like wishful thinking.
What I will say is the Dublin footfall is very hit and miss and if DFS didnt sit on the second floor my money would be on them closing the site.
ISG do not have enough desks in Cork, so some teams are split up into two for now, 5 days in the office 5 remote. I think they are adding capacity on the second floor for this, to get everyone back in 5 days together...
Confirmed?!?! What a load of bollocks.
@ak lol, no it wasn't
Ehhhh I believe the technical term is sh-t canned
So what happens to everyone working in those offices? I'm not as familiar with Dublin, but Limerick has a decent foot print the last I checked. Are those people going remote (which would be quite the irony...) or are they expected to relocate to Cork?
It was confirmed at a recent staff meeting that Limerick and Dublon branches will be shutdown by eoy. Cork will remain and see much more financing
Both Limerick and Dublin will be phased out over time. The plan is to have fewer sites and these two are not part of the plan.
Cork is getting investment and is a safe site for the future, the others not so much
