I think the Dream Team will surprise everyone….better than expected Q1.

@t7 how much did it make for you? The stock is down ~10% from a month ago. You could buy like crazy!

This is how large corporate acquisitions work every single time. The people at the top who engineered the deal get credit for the “successful integration.” The people who absorbed the cost of that integration, the ones who lost jobs, income, and stability, and whose children now have to deal with the cutbacks that come with job loss. I feel sorry for those who lost their jobs during the holidays, especially in this economy. The machine worked exactly as designed, and the analysts today celebrate the acquisition math.

And yet we had a kick-a$$, record-breaking quarter. Thank you Juniper. Neri gets props for the acquisition, like it or not.

I expect revenue to start plateauing. HPE can keep up their hype forever. They’re a very reactionary company only focused on easy market strategies. Anytime the market shifts, the company does poorly in readjusting. But an innovative company will help pioneer those shifts. HPE is not a pioneer. They’re a follower.

This year I see a mild slowdown and shrinking margins for HPE. Hardware is getting vastly expensive so there will be less sales and smaller demand for upgrades.

@b6 it's a mess, isn't it? What a waste too. Soon, Mist competition will be too much anyway. Than what?

Don't count on it. These clowns have no idea about how to run a company.
